In the fall of 2000, I walked into ecology, not knowing I would meet two of my three best college friends. That first day I met Jessie Montagnese (Soyka) and Miranda Bailey (Lydy). Later, I would meet Miranda’s roommate, Julie Roberts (Knapp), who would also become one of my best college friends. We have supported each other through teaching jobs, engagements, weddings, and the birth of 13 children between us. I am so thankful for the blessing of their friendship in my life!
