Empower an Eagle–
And Change Their Life

Enrolling at Ashland means discovering who you are and becoming who you were made to be. Now, through the Empower an Eagle program, we’re making the process of changing lives simpler–and even more affordable!
Here’s how it works:
- Think about the high school and undergraduate transfer students in your life who would thrive at Ashland.
- Share their contact information by clicking the button below.
- We’ll reach out to them with information about admissions and the scholarship opportunity.
- Once admitted, they will be automatically eligible for the ongoing $500/year tuition-based scholarship.
- Know that with your help, they will experience the life-changing opportunities, lifelong connections and individual attention every Eagle receives!

(Only new and transfer undergraduate students who have not previously applied and are not considered legacy applicants are eligible. $500 renewable scholarship is tuition only and cannot surpass tuition cost.)

Network
Ashland University’s GUIDE Network brings mentors and students together. Mentors are able to partner with students to offer experience, wisdom and hard-earned knowledge that will set them up for success.
This unique program allows mentors to connect with the next generation of Eagles and invest in their future. For students, this program offers a unique opportunity to grow both personally and professionally and prepare for the world beyond campus borders.
Future Eagles Legacy Program
The Future Eagles Legacy Program recruits and recognizes children, stepchildren and grandchildren of Ashland alumni.
As part of the program, legacies are recognized at birth and again on significant birthdays throughout their lives. When children, stepchildren or grandchildren apply to Ashland University, they receive a $1,000 legacy scholarship, which is renewable by maintaining satisfactory academic progress.
On average, 214 legacy students are enrolled each year in classes at Ashland!
Ashland University Success Hub
Join our LinkedIn group designed to foster meaningful connections and collaborations between, alumni, staff, faculty, university friends, and current students at Ashland! This group provides a platform to engage, share knowledge, advance your career, and celebrate the successes of individuals affiliated with Ashland.
Alumni Connecting Eagles (ACE Program)
Share your Ashland story with current high school seniors who received their acceptance letter, but have not yet decided to attend Ashland. With your help, prospective students feel connected to our community and begin to see themselves as Eagles!
We will provide you with postcards and postage. All you need to do is write two or three lines about your Ashland experience, your life after graduation, or words of encouragement about choosing Ashland.
Stories are powerful things. Your story can make a difference in the life of a student considering calling Ashland home.
