During my junior year, I was the RA in the Kappa Sigma house. One night, I was doing homework in my room when I got a knock on my door. I was only told there was a problem upstairs and nothing else. So, when I went to check it out, I found a hole in the ceiling. At the time, no one would tell me how the hole got there. Since they don’t exactly cover this sort of situation in RA training, I called my boss. It was only later I found out the culprit was, for some unknown reason, a broom handle. I learned a lot about being an adaptable leader that year!
