One thing I love about Ashland is just how small it is. You can really get to know people and professors one-on-one. You can get a really good feel for who’s who. Kelly Kossick, my advisor, has had a huge effect on my life and other professors have made a big impact on me. Some of my best memories have been built through the Black Student Alliance. It’s called that but it’s really for anyone, of any race. It helps people feel safe here, included, and I really believe in what it stands for.
