I was from originally from a small town in Ohio, and, when I was looking for a job out of Purdue, I wanted to be close to family and find that small-town college feel. I love what I do. For the past 25 years, it’s rarely felt like work. One of my favorite stories of Ashland happened when I got a call from a former student who was working in Pittsburgh and had landed a job for a professional hockey team. She was so excited that she was using exactly what she’d learned here at Ashland, applying it directly to her career and advancing quickly. That’s just one of the stories indicative of why I love being here.
