I came to Ashland from out of state, terribly shy, and not knowing exactly what I wanted after college. I was afraid I would not be able to take full advantage of the opportunities Ashland had to offer. Throughout my four years, though, Ashland University gave me the chance to grow personally and professionally, become involved in student and volunteer organizations, serve on several campus executive boards and complete four internships. I met my best friends, grew out of my shell into a leader and found my career passion working in higher education. Without Ashland University, I could never have become the person I have always wanted to be today.
