When I was auditioning for schools, Ashland University clearly showed “Accent on the Individual.” I was very nervous about auditioning for the musical staff at the college level. I remember Liz Pastor talking to me about my life as I waited to audition. She was this very colorful and artistic person just trying to help me relax. After graduation, I moved out of state and returned ten years later to show my son where I went to school. When we got to A&H, Mr. Reed greeted us at the door and remembered who I was, asking how I had been. I was not an instrumentalist, but, even after ten years, he remembered who I was and showed, again, “Accent on the Individual.” Go Eagles!
