Some of my fondest memories of being at Ashland so far are going on Well retreats. We go to Camp Bethany or Camp Nuhop, build a fire, camp and just be together in nature. It’s very peaceful. As a poli-sci major, this year we’re reading ‘Democracy in America“ by De’Tocqueville. It’s really opened my eyes to a lot of how this country and the world work and brings together a lot of the things I’ve learned from Drs. Burkett, Stevens and McBrayer over the last few years.
