I grew up in the town of Ashland and commuted to campus for my four years. I got involved in a sorority—Delta Zeta—and was the featured twirler for the Marching Band for three years. Football season was my favorite time of year. Back in those d,ays the team shared Community Stadium with the high school. So, on Saturdays the band would march from campus to the stadium. It was amazing to see members of the community and students alike come outside to watch as we played and marched past. That’s one of my fondest memories!
