The transition to college initially felt like it was going to be a little rough. Day one in my music education class, I was assigned a 14-page paper about myself. Writing that much about yourself felt pretty intimidating. But it ended up being fine, and I’m really enjoying the culture here. The size is great. That applies to both class sizes and the ensembles. When you’re in smaller ensembles, you get much better much faster because there’s very little room for error.
