Kelly Kyser

Alumna

Class of 2004

I found myself while at Ashland in more ways than one. I was always quiet and reserved, but once I put on the Tuffy suit (2001-2004), I could break out of that shy shell. I became more outgoing. I found my purpose and passion in life and was able to open up and stand up for myself. I also found my husband and best friend while attending AU. The Tuffy suit I wore stands in the field house at the new stadium on the top of the cases at the entrance. All these years later, the confidence Tuffy gave me has made me a strong person. I now help troubled children professionally and personally (as a foster parent). I hang my diploma proudly in my office as it was the first step in changing my life. Because of the opportunities I found at AU, I was able to face the things I never thought I could. I bleed purple and gold. Thank you for everything! A-U A-U Eagles! Eagles! Eagles! Rah! Rah! Rah!
