Both my mom and sister are nurses, so I’ve grown up wanting to follow in their footsteps. My main reason for coming to Ashland was the nursing program. At a lot of colleges, you have to apply after your first year to enter the program. But here, you’re able to begin right away. My best times here have revolved around home football games. As part of the color guard, I get to be a part of the gameday energy and that’s been a lot of fun. It’s such a family atmosphere and I’ve had so many great experiences in this community throughout my time here.
