My story of Ashland began in a dorm room in Kem. I wanted to start a Bible study, and, in the beginning, it was just a few of us. Quickly, it grew to 30 people, and now we’re seeing over 200 people attending in person each week in Redwood, with around 300 viewing remotely online. It’s called the “Melting Pot,” and the idea behind it is to bring a lot of diversity and energy to worshiping and serving God. I have the opportunity to split the teaching duties with a good friend of mine, and we’ve seen a lot of people positively impacted through the group. From the beginning, the “Melting Pot” has been run by students, for students, and I’m pumped to see where God guides us next!
