I came to Ashland for both football and track. The sense of camaraderie and community on the track team is really incredible and it’s amazing to be able to compete with big time D-I schools at meets across the country. If you’d asked me three years ago what I would be looking forward to as a career, I never would have said teacher. But I’ve fallen in love with history as a subject and because of the inspiration I’ve received from the professors here, teaching others has kind of come to the forefront of what I want to do after graduation.
