I knew I wanted to teach well before I went to Ashland, and also knew I wanted to go to a “small” college. During my senior year, having completed most of my course work as a K-12 Phys. Ed. major, I chose to take courses that interested me. Among the courses I chose was the newly opened driver’s education program. Today I can say that was a wonderful opportunity. As a result I have taught driver’s education in the public schools for nearly 35 years. Thanks to Ashland, I have a job I can say I truly love!
