One of the best things about teaching here is working with students on research projects. One particular student I had the opportunity to work with last year was an honors student, Corianna Borton. My wife also teaches in the department, so she and I got the opportunity to take Corianna to the American Chemical Society National Meeting in Orlando, Florida. She was awarded a prestigious award during the conference. It was great to spend some time getting to know her. In fact, we’re going to her wedding this weekend!
