As an undergrad, Ashland University shaped who I would become prior to heading out into “the real world.” As an employee, AU continues to shape who I am now that I am a man of God, a husband, a Director of Athletic Communications, and so much more. There are, sadly, comparatively few people who get the opportunity to do their dream job— tell the stories of the student-athletes, coaches and administrators at their alma mater. But, for the past five years, that’s exactly what I’ve had the opportunity to do. It’s a blessing, it’s something I don’t do lightly or flippantly and this job has provided me a focus on, first and foremost, being better at the end of the day than I was at the beginning of it—in all phases of life.
