My junior year I had the opportunity to be a student assistant coach with the football team. I was unable to play because of a previous knee injury and took the opportunity to get a great educational experience while coaching under former head coach Fred Martinelli. During that time, I helped in all aspects of coaching the junior varsity, scouting, game preps and coaches’ meetings. It was there that I learn so much about the career I wanted to pursue. Learning from the coaching staff with Coach Martinelli and former defensive coordinator John Valentine, I was able to prepare for the career path I’ve spent my professional life enjoying. I’m very thankful for the people who influenced my life’s passion and vocation!
