I came to Ashland College from Painesville along with five others in 1954. We all contributed to sports success at Ashland. I transferred from Baldwin Wallace mid-year, so I played three years of basketball. I was captain twice. I also played four years of baseball. All the Painesville boys contributed to whatever success Ashland College had in those years.
