I thought Ashland would be the perfect fit for me because my aunt had already graduated from Ashland and my high school boyfriend was also attending. I decided to try out for the cheerleading team and it has become one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I have found so many ways to stay involved on campus. Through cheerleading, I met three of my very best friends, who will be standing by my side on my wedding day in December. Through Fellowship of Christian Athletes, I have met so many amazing individuals who have helped me get through so many hard times. Because of Ashland, I have led the cheerleading Bible study for four years now, and I have traveled to the Dominican Republic for two years. I am an eagle caller and supervisor, and I am so grateful to have connected with so many amazing alumni. I owe so much to Ashland–and I am not ready to graduate in December!
