I used to see this sign at the airport that said, “Where extraordinary happens on ordinary days.” I always wanted to go to Ashland to play football, but I didn’t have the grades straight out of high school. I saw a childhood friend at the mall who encouraged me to get back on the field and in the classroom. With that, I decided to pursue a dream that could change my life. I went to another school before transferring to Ashland. The degree I accomplished, the relationships I built and everything else was truly extraordinary.
