I absolutely loved my four years at Ashland University. I was very fortunate to attend two mission trips through Ashland, including a mystery mission trip through The Well. We had no idea where we were going until the day we were leaving, and we ended up going to Las Vegas. It made me take a leap of faith and trust God that we would be sent where He needs us. I also attended a medical mission trip that I learned about through the College of Nursing. We traveled to the Dominican Republic to run a medical clinic for a week. Both of these mission trips were very eye-opening and rewarding for me. The trips helped me grow as a person, in my faith and in my career as a nurse. It’s also such an amazing feeling to help others in need and to spread God’s love to them. I’ll forever be thankful that Ashland gave me these life-changing opportunities.
