My story begins in the late 1980s, as a transfer to Ashland, a commuter. I knew I would get an excellent education. My professors were awesome, the classes were challenging and the campus was beautiful.
Fast forward to now: I’m the parent of two students who attend AU.
One will graduate this May. She’s an Ashbrook Scholar, sorority member and on the Panhellenic Council. She’s doing big things and dreaming even bigger.
The other is a junior: fraternity member, college radio news director, “Early Bird’s Word,” a member of the Day of Giving team and a freelance videographer. He is finding his way to his passion.
You see, my story leads to their stories. I don’t know where their stories will lead, but it began at Ashland University. We are creating a legacy!
