Back when I was at Ashland, I helped out with the football team on the equipment staff. I also met my wife here, who was in the marching band. We got connected through Hope Fellowship, which met once a week back then. And during the games, while she was playing in the band, I was on the sidelines—fixing helmets, jerseys, cleats, whatever the players needed. I was always running somewhere. It was a great time!
