As an early childhood education major at AU, it was great to have the opportunity to work in a kindergarten classroom at Edison Elementary here in Ashland last year. I love watching how their minds work as they figure things out. I love working with them one-on-one. And as you start making those personal connections, you can build real relationships with these children. After just a few weeks, even the quietest, shyest ones start giving you a hug any time they see you!
