Annual Giving

Your generosity transforms lives and shapes futures.

At Ashland University, Accent on the Individual is more than a promise—it’s a purpose. Every gift empowers students to pursue their unique potential and make a meaningful impact in the world.

Your support fuels opportunities as distinctive as each Eagle’s journey. By giving to the Ashland Fund, you invest in more than education—you invest in lives. Together, we ensure that every individual student has the resources to thrive and succeed.

Every Gift.
Every Student.

Unrestricted giving empowers every journey at Ashland.

The Ashland Fund supports the everyday moments that define the student experience. By giving, you make Accent on the Individual a reality and help transform lives.

The Ashland Fund:

Meeting the Greatest Needs

Unrestricted giving is the backbone of our mission to provide a transformative experience for every student. Your support directly impacts academics, athletics, fine arts, student organizations, internships and global opportunities—ensuring that no need goes unmet.

Gifts to the Ashland Fund gives the university the flexibility to address urgent priorities and foster growth, enabling students to make the most of their Ashland journey. When you give, you provide the opportunities that only happen here.

Student Scholarship

One gift makes an education possible. Every Eagle can trace a life of success and service back to one place, one moment when everything clicked, and we knew what we were meant to do. We know it as a calling. And every one of us starts on that path here at Ashland.

But for many, it begins before we even step foot on campus. It starts when a deserving student receives a much-needed scholarship. It’s thanks to individuals like you that the gift of an Ashland education is possible.

Thanks to scholarships, our students have the support of peers and professors who help them focus in on their strengths and passions. Our students learn from professionals and scholars who share their knowledge and experience in the classroom, the lab, and other settings. Truly, the support of donors can redefine a student's trajectory.

Annual scholarships provide immediate financial support. A gift of any size to student scholarships throughout the year, can help students continue their college journey. Scholarship recipients can focus on being college students while they're here at Ashland and can fully dedicate themselves to their chosen professions, serving their communities, and caring for their families after graduation.

Another way to provide a student with scholarship funding is through a named annual scholarship. These gifts qualify for a fund named in recognition of the donor or honoree for the duration of the funding period. Commitments must be four years and can be renewed for an additional four years.
