Gifts to the Ashland Fund provide the flexibility to support our students in a wide range of ways and meet their unique needs. Whether it's a student organization, an academic program, an internship, research, athletics, or an opportunity abroad, students learn what's out there and what they can expect from themselves. Financing the Future
The future of the student experience at Ashland relies on the generosity of our donors through support for capital projects, planned giving and endowments. Establishing a named endowment creates a permanent legacy for donors or it can serve as a thoughtful and lasting tribute to a family member or favorite professor. A gift to create an endowment may be made in the form of a multi-year pledge, with gift payments made for up to five (5) years. The minimum gift to establish an endowment is $25,000, which is invested and only the interest is spent.
Ashland has different endowment possibilities to directly benefit our students, programs, and faculty. Establish a named endowment and provide consistent financial support to Ashland University in perpetuity.
Academic Program Support
Our professors have the opportunity to enlighten and inspire our students, both in the classroom and in the relationships they form outside the classroom. They have the rare ability to create these special relationships during some of the most formative years in the lives of Ashland students. A world-class faculty is imperative to the success of any university, and Ashland is blessed to have professors and instructors dedicated to providing the very best teaching and mentoring possible. Our faculty strive to improve the experiences of Ashland students in the classroom and beyond.
Supporting academic programs or faculty are incredibly powerful ways to continue and enhance this mission. Gifts in the form of endowed chairs and professorships allow Ashland to recruit excellent faculty, fuel beloved professors and continue to improve and enhance the opportunities students within a program can access.

Athletics
We are committed to our student-athletes’ continued success, providing scholarship funds to ensure they can reach their full potential, both on the field and in the classroom. We are dedicated to providing a quality education—leading to graduation—for every one of our student-athletes. Our goal is to empower them to be successful in every aspect of their lives—from coaches, to facilities, to game-day experiences—and to represent Eagle Nation.
But, we cannot do it without you! Student Experience
The classroom experience is critical to the personal and academic growth of students at Ashland University. But during their college journey, opportunities to engage in student experiences outside of the classroom are just as important. As a key part of living out our commitment to Accent on the Individual, your support for student life and activities at Ashland allows us to sustain existing and create new opportunities for the next generation to grow into the leaders they are called to be.
Because of our emphasis on the uniqueness of each student, we offer a wide range of options designed to get individuals plugged in where they can grow, thrive and build the memories they will carry with them forever.
Our commitment to military-connected students and their families finds its home in the Jack W. Liebert Military & Veteran Resource Center. For many years, Ashland has invested in the spiritual health of students through our rich religious life and Christian ministry programs. Students learn initiative, cooperation, and leadership within our robust fraternity and sorority life. Through the Career Center for Life Calling, students can access the information and resources they need to prepare for future success.
